PPE Masks
The Cheyenne County Hospital was awarded a COVID-19 Relief Grant of $2500 in 2020.
We expect to have protection for our healthcare workers so they can continue to provide care during the COVID-19 pandemic. By utilizing reusable masks and gowns, made according to KDHE/CDC guidelines for non-front line staff, we can save the N-95 masks for staff who will be most at risk for exposure. In order to provide care to our community when it is desperately needed, we need to ensure that the healthcare workers remain healthy and are able to perform their needed skills. Thus, by having available supplies of PPE, whether purchased or homemade, we can work toward helping people heal and recover from COVID-19.
